(Robin Townsend)

WOMEN’S HEALTH

Targets conditions which predominately affect women, e.g. menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, stress incontinence and menopause.

Pre/Post Natal physiotherapy is a program of education, exercise and strategies during pregnancy, childbirth and the immediate period after birth.

Continence/Incontinence physiotherapists assess and treat bladder or bowel incontinence, pelvic floor weakness, dysfunction and urinary urgency.

CHILDREN’S HEALTH

Paediatrics Robin works with children to ensure optimal physical function and development in movement,
co-ordination, posture and the cardio-respiratory system.

The development of movement in children is a normal process which we take for granted.  However sometimes a baby or young child shows a delay in achieving particular movement skills & needs assistance.

Robin is trained to recognise & treat these problems of movement and posture.

Bedwetting (Nocturnal Enuresis) is a common condition in children and many parents/carers manage the condition within the family.

Bedwetting can be hereditary.

Physiotherapy can optimise recovery through the use of bedwetting alarms, pelvic floor muscle function, bladder retraining, fluid intake and education for both children and parents.
